We offer private training sessions, group dog classes, day training and behavior modification and consulting, as well as in home dog walking and pet care. Our team is dedicated to providing kind, compassionate care and values implementing training and handling techniques that are humane and supported by the behavior science community.

Positive Dog Solutions focus exclusively on behavior challenges. We work with rescues and private clients. We cover all behavior challenges from light and straight forward to severe and complex. We can assist in a legal context with behavior assessments and expert testimony. We provide educational programs for volunteers and staff working in rescue groups and shelters. We offer both in-home and virtual sessions.

With 15 years of experience as accredited positive reinforcement trainers, we provide clients with integrative dog training and behavior modification services. I started dogsitting over 20 years ago and became a professional dogwalker when I moved to San Francisco in 2013. I opened Skalliwags Pet Care in 2015 and it's been pure joy getting paid for what I love to do! I do 2 group walks/beach hikes a day that our minimum 60 min each. Groups are on the smaller side to create an ideal environment for exercise and facilitated socialization. I accept dogs in Oakland in neighborhoods near Lake Merritt for Daycare Only
