At Dodger's Paws, our goal is to help people on their journey to having well-behaved and enjoyable dog family members. We think everyone should experience the connection that positive dog training brings, and how it results in living with a wonderful and cherished dog.

At Ready, Pup, Go!, our mission is to guide future pet owners through the rewarding yet challenging journey of puppy parenthood. With statistics showing that approximately 20% of adopted puppies are returned or rehomed due to unmet expectations or unforeseen challenges (ASPCA, 2019), we aim to reduce rehoming rates and curb future behavior issues through comprehensive consultation and early education. By providing one-on-one coaching throughout the first year of a puppy’s life, we equip pet owners with the knowledge and support they need to raise well-adjusted, happy dogs. Ready, Pup, Go! is committed to creating stronger bonds between humans and their canine companions, one puppy at a time.

Dogs love me, and I love them. I've had dogs my whole life. Whether it's for a walk or an extended stay, I will treat your dog as though they're my own. We take long walks and go to the park daily. At home, they can use the fenced yard while supervised, but typically they're too tired and just want to relax and sleep. There are dog beds, bowls, toys, and a small crate. To develop strong bonds with the dogs, form cohesive packs, and ensure they get plenty of exercise, we do not use a car. We explore San Francisco on foot as we visit the local off leash dog parks. I've been working professionally with dogs since 2011. I started my canine career as a professional dog walker in San Francisco and later earned my CTBC certification as a dog trainer and behavioral consultant through DTIASF (Dog Training Internship Academy of SF) as well as my CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed) certification. I currently offer both in-person and virtual dog training and behavioral consulting. My focus is on dogs struggling with reactivity by helping dog owners develop an effective management plan while we work to build confidence and teach new more appropriate skills.

Started in 2018 we evolved from the Coachella Valley Dog Club (which started in 2008) into an even bigger concept to serve the needs of the Coachella Valley. All it took was two dog-obsessed best friends and a shared dream for all dogs to be treated equally. One a trainer and behavior consultant and one a medical practitioner. Both with a love of their big dogs, their families, and tenacity to make their dreams happen. We have one of only two local Certified Professional Dog Trainer Knowledge Assessed and Associate Credentialed Dog Behavior Consultants as a part of our driving team. They are also a certified trick dog instructor and fear-free certified.

At C&S, we know that all animals are individuals and each of them are unique and special to us. We tailor our services to suite you and your furry companions. Whether you have a dog that struggles with strangers, a kitten who think’s your curtains are great fun, or you need help picking the right diet, we can help. We can also help if you have any welfare concerns or basic training needs. We are qualified up to degree level and are always looking at new courses to learn more! All the methods we use are positive, reward based training which is backed by the most up to date science. We are also fully insured to ensure the safety of everyone. As a force free professional, I apply the same level of gentle, effective care to educating humans as I do to training their dogs. My dog training education (Turid Rugaas, Karen Pryor, Aggressive Dog, Treat/Retreat and many ongoing trainings) and my Masters in Social Work combine to give me a unique perspective on enhancing your relationship with your dog while getting you the changes in their behavior you need.

In 2011, Walkin’ the Dog SF opened for business in San Francisco to provide private walks on leash in clients’ neighborhoods. After many years of tackling hills, my knees have convinced me to change the focus of my business to assist clients who have dogs with separation anxiety. I am available to stay with dogs in their homes when their family members need to go to work, go to medical appointments, and/or take care of everyday responsibilities away from home. I pet sit for some clients on a fixed schedule, but I also have flexible hours.
