I have been Providing Dog walks since 2015 and I have been affiliated with dogs (daycare & vet clinics) since 2010. Bay City Paws provides off leash walks around San Francisco parks and boarding services. We work on basic commands and polite manners during our walks.

I only board dogs that are enrolled in my daily group walks. I walk dogs of all shapes and sizes even though my profile says I only walk small dogs. I don't know how that happened or how to change it.

A graduate of the Dog Training Internship Academy - a comprehensive program that provided me with a thorough understanding of animal behavior & learning and focused on the use of science-based training techniques to change both a dog's behavior and a dog's underlying emotional state that may be driving undesirable behavior. I'm also certified by The Certification Council of Pet Dog Trainers. This requires that I have a minimum of 300 hours of experience; references from a veterinarian, client, and colleague(s); and have passed a comprehensive examination testing my knowledge of learning theory, canine ethology, animal husbandry, classroom management, and teaching techniques.

Hey there! I’m Lindsey, and I own Love Has Paws Dog Walking. I have been working with dog since 2011, and have been a dog walker in San Francisco since 2015. Started my own business in 2022. I always use Positive Reinforcement and Rewards-Based methods in all my training. Behavior Modification is always done using scientifically proven methods to modify, reshape or extinguish the unwanted behavior. I believe in being patient, compassionate, helping the dog to reshape its behavior at a comfortable pace for the dog, and doing it with confidence. That is where training you - the person - to train your dog, comes into my training philosophy.

Heidi started swiShing tails dog training in 2019, bringing 8 years of experience of working with dogs. Heidi provides walking in SF, and boarding and training in SF & the peninsula. She also teaches agility, and competes with both her border collie and beagle in agility and rally. She only uses positive reinforcement and science-based methods in dog training and walking, which is why her canine clients are always excited to go out and play.

I am passionate about helping folks learn more about their dogs so that they can meet their needs. When this is a priority , mutually respectful relationships build a foundation for a harmonious household. Dogs love me, and I love them. I've had dogs my whole life. Whether it's for a walk or an extended stay, I will treat your dog as though they're my own. We take long walks and go to the park daily. At home, they can use the fenced yard while supervised, but typically they're too tired and just want to relax and sleep. There are dog beds, bowls, toys, and a small crate. To develop strong bonds with the dogs, form cohesive packs, and ensure they get plenty of exercise, we do not use a car. We explore San Francisco on foot as we visit the local off leash dog parks. Steph trains everyone to meet dogs where they are! She utilizes force free techniques, whether dogs need a little extra help feeling safe, learning how to play with other dogs, learning how to trust people, or just plain making sure they get their exercise while they are out and about (and coming back when called!) She strives to help people learn how to understand their dog while cutting down on undesirable behaviors. Steph has a particular soft spot for all guard dog breeds, from shepherds to bullies, and especially enjoys working with them.
