I started walktime in 2019 after working for someone else for a year because I knew that working with dogs is what I want to do for the rest of my life. Also I wanted to provide a trustworthy service that’s owner operated to people in a city full of question marks.

I have had dogs all my life the 22 years I grew up in The Netherlands. When I moved to San Francisco I felt that this was my calling; working as a professional with and for dogs! I have a psychology degree from The Netherlands, and finished the dog walking course before starting my own business. After that I wanted to learn more about dog psychology and training, so I took an intense course at a training academy. Every day I love my job more. The dogs are so happy and their gratitude makes every day a great day. My main goal is having as much fun with my pack as we can so that they can return home well satisfied from great exercise!

I'm Paula Sharkey, the owner and operator of Shark & Paws K9, a pet sitting and dog training service dedicated to enriching the lives of both furry friends and their humans. For over 10 years, I've fostered a deep connection with the canine world, working extensively with both working line dogs and a diverse range of pet breeds. This experience has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of dog behavior, training techniques, and the unique needs of different breeds.

The Urban Paw is insured, bonded, and a registered dog walking and pet sitting business of San Francisco founded and owned by Emy Sakai. Emy is also a member of SF Professional Dog Walkers, SF Sitters, Professional United Pet Sitters, and Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. She offers off-leash exercise and playtime at a fenced-in, 3 acre private ranch. Up to 1.5 hours of exercise and socialization with a pack in a safe and controlled environment. She takes great pride and joy in what she does, and cares for each individual pet as if they were her own.

Hi there! My name is Erik Grow and I've been a dog care professional since 2008, having first worked for other pet care businesses in Marin and San Francisco. I have owned and operated The Good Life Dog Care since 2012, with a sabbatical from 2019 to 2021. I put the safety of your pets above all other concerns, followed next by exercise and socialization. We do a mix of off-leash and on-leash walking so as to make sure all the dogs get enough exercise. It's important to know that your dog is having a good time, so I take pictures and videos during the walk to share on our Instagram page. Solo R+ walks, on leash (long lead) for dogs experiencing reactivity. Service Area: Inner and Outer Sunset, Castro, and Noe Valley neighborhoods. Some service to Mission and Bernal schedule permitting. Walks are enrichment focused. If your dog has reactivity, I require that clients be actively working with an R+ trainer. I will be in regular contact with that trainer to support you and your dog’s training journey.
