In 2011, Walkin’ the Dog SF opened for business in San Francisco to provide private walks on leash in clients’ neighborhoods. After many years of tackling hills, my knees have convinced me to change the focus of my business to assist clients who have dogs with separation anxiety. I am available to stay with dogs in their homes when their family members need to go to work, go to medical appointments, and/or take care of everyday responsibilities away from home. I pet sit for some clients on a fixed schedule, but I also have flexible hours.

R Positive dog walking employs only reward-based training methods and We require the family be on board with not using any pain or fear based techniques as they would conflict with our philosophy and cause future problems for the dog. We specialize in dog daycare and Dog boarding. Our dog daycare provides exercise, dog play and socialization with other dogs 35 lbs. and under. When your dog stays with us they will be treated as one of our family. Dogs have a safe and secure location in our home to play and interact with other dogs of similar temperament. All dogs go through a meet and greet with their owner here at our facility to judge their temperament to make sure they are an ideal candidate for daycare and/or boarding. All dogs scheduled for a meet and greet must have their vaccinations up to date.
