Our expert and qualified team offer dog, puppy and rescue dog training and behaviour in Cheltenham and surrounding areas. We offer personalised 121's, solo training walks, online dog training, and we have a range of free dog training resources on our website. With over 20 years of experience between us, you are in safe hands with all your dog training needs. We only use positive reinforcement training and we are completely force free.

I am located in Mill Valley and service Mill Valley and Sausalito for my pack walks. The pack walks 1 hour off-leash walks and adventures in parks and beaches nearby. I also offer pet-sitting and boarding Fridays after 12:30 until Sunday night if you live outside of Marin. I started Salty Paws SF in 2023 after working for another dog walking business for about a year and a half. I also walked for another company called Luck Dog from 2007-2009.

In 2022, I started this company to help heal the void I had in my heart after losing my precious fur baby Mia. At that time I was not ready to bring another dog into my life and caring for animals has really helped fill that empty space in my heart. Dogs love me, and I love them. I've had dogs my whole life. Whether it's for a walk or an extended stay, I will treat your dog as though they're my own. We take long walks and go to the park daily. At home, they can use the fenced yard while supervised, but typically they're too tired and just want to relax and sleep. There are dog beds, bowls, toys, and a small crate. To develop strong bonds with the dogs, form cohesive packs, and ensure they get plenty of exercise, we do not use a car. We explore San Francisco on foot as we visit the local off leash dog parks. Let’s face it, Dogs Rule!I love dogs and love working with them. Dogs are pure joy! My goal is to give your dog the safest, most fun walk everyday with me. I strive to accomplish this and it is fun doing so. I am extremely vigilant about your dogs safety and am constantly striving towards educating myself on the best force free training methods in order to establish a loving relationship between myself and your canine companion. I train through gaining trust and build strong relationships with the dogs this way. I am not afraid to use treats and love. These are my tools. This means no shock, prong or choke chains or physical punishment. And lastly, we have sooo much fun!

Once Upon a Dog Walk is a professional dog walking service for busy, urban, dog owners. Group walks last for a minimum of 90 minutes on the ground. Depending on the order of pickup and location, your pup will be out of the house between 2 - 4hrs. We are licensed and insured in the city of San Francisco and look forward to taking your pup on romps on our coastal trails and beaches!
