I grew up living with and loving dogs. When my kids were young I hired dog walkers and was always curious about the job. In 2013, we got our dog Lily and I became and licensed dog walker and started A Walk in the Park. Since then I've done group walks at Fort Funston, Bernal Hill, Stern Grove and McLaren Park. I also do doggie daycare and boarding in my home in Noe Valley. I love spending my days outside with dogs and feel very grateful to do this work.

Dog Grrl was started in 1997 by owner and operator Jenny Test. Dog Grrl thrived and grew into a doggie daycare space in San Francisco that offered small dog daycare, puppy socials with classes with Smarty Pup and a BnB style boarding facility in Healdsburg California. As the business grew so did the desire to help dogs overcome their fears and anxieties so Jenny went to the Academy for Dog Trainers offered at the SPCA and taught by Jean Donaldson. This will be our 22nd year of serving our San Francisco community. Our daycare and boarding is based out of my 2,500 sq ft home, with a large backyard. We love what we do. We use only force free, R+ training methods. All of our staff are employees and we provide health, dental and retirement benefits.

These prices includes pick up and drop off within radius: -30 minute walk for $35 (each additional dog per household is $20) -60 minute walk for $65 (each additional dog per household is $20) These prices DON'T include pick up and drop off: -30 minute walk for $25 (each additional dog per household is $15) -60 minute walk for $45 (each additional dog per household is $15) You can drop off at 1540 Hudson Street in RWC If you'd like to add daycare, there would be an additional fee of $40 per day (max of 5 hours).

My animal care experience included hamsters, birds, reptiles such as lizards, fish, rabbits, chickens, horses and especially dogs. Prior to dog sitting, my pet care experience includes fostering rescues with Wonder Dog Rescue, Grateful Dogs Rescue and the SF/SPCA shelter. I also have experience as a volunteer dog walker at the SF/SPCA. I have experience working with dogs with a wide range of issues including: seniors, dogs with medical issues, including trauma and abuse/neglect.
