It starts with socialization when your puppy is between 8 and 16 weeks and continues with one on one training or group classes using positive reinforcement. Wigwag Club provides safe and fun professional dog walks in Portland's Rose City Park neighborhood. Walks are focused around enrichment for your best friend by encouraging lots of sniffs, teaching new tricks, and reinforcing polite manners both on leash and on the trail.

We treat your pets like family and give your furry friends the same love and care they would receive from you! It brings us great joy to see them happily wagging their tails, living life to the fullest! We offer a variety of services: dog walking & hikes, private walks, kennel-free boarding, drop-in visits, cat care and house sitting. We practice safety, trail etiquette, and are committed to assuring your pet has a great time with his or her pack mates! I grew up living with and loving dogs. When my kids were young I hired dog walkers and was always curious about the job. In 2013, we got our dog Lily and I became and licensed dog walker and started A Walk in the Park. Since then I've done group walks at Fort Funston, Bernal Hill, Stern Grove and McLaren Park. I also do doggie daycare and boarding in my home in Noe Valley. I love spending my days outside with dogs and feel very grateful to do this work.

I'm a KPA-CTP(Karen Pryor Certified Training Partner), with over a decades worth of dog experience. My passion is to help people and their dogs have a better relationship.

Our focus is one on one care for dogs (and cats) that may struggle with traditional care settings and group care environments.
