Hi there! Happy Scamper was started in 2013 with one goal in mind-- providing the highest quality care for pups and their humans. We have thousands of playgroup walks under our belts learning the in's and out's of dog behavior, safe handling, positive reinforcement training, dog park etiquette, and adorable picture taking! Our pups enjoy off leash walks in a beautiful private fenced acreage lot with occasional visits to Funston! As of 2019 my wife Vanessa officially joined Happy Scamper making us a family run business with 16 years combined experience. My business started in 2013 in Cole Valley but I also offer my services in the surroundings areas. I have excellent references and I can provide them upon request. My walks consist of small groups (usually three dogs at a time) with different schedules according to what it is requested. We go for a 60-minute walk after each dog is picked up. This gives them time to do their business, exercise and socialize with other dogs.

Our focus is one on one care for dogs (and cats) that may struggle with traditional care settings and group care environments. Whether a dog is shy, fearful, reactive, anxious, aggressive, or perhaps just intact or a senior that has become selective; many dogs find group daycares, group walks, and traditional boarding environments stressful, or aren't able to go - so we are here to help! I have had dogs all my life the 22 years I grew up in The Netherlands. When I moved to San Francisco I felt that this was my calling; working as a professional with and for dogs! I have a psychology degree from The Netherlands, and finished the dog walking course before starting my own business. After that I wanted to learn more about dog psychology and training, so I took an intense course at a training academy. Every day I love my job more. The dogs are so happy and their gratitude makes every day a great day. My main goal is having as much fun with my pack as we can so that they can return home well satisfied from great exercise!

My name is Jeydibeth and I am an avid animal lover! For the past year I have been professionally pet sitting on Rover and have 80+ reviews on there. I have cared for animals of various sizes, ages, and those with special needs. I offer drop-in visits and dog walking all in the comfort of your home! Emily has been working in San Francisco as a certified dog trainer and walker for 15 years. She offers group walks for dogs who enjoy being around other dogs and people. She is experienced in helping with basic obedience and puppy training, as well as behavioral concerns, fear and aggression.

I started working in the pet care industry after I took in my grandfather's dog, Roxie. I worked in a small local pet shop, Sunset Pet Supply from 2014 - 2016. I learned all about animal nutrition and wellness. Then I moved into a dog walking position 2017 - 2018. I loved the dog walking so much, I decided to move on and start my own business. I wanted to be able to do more work to help the dogs and their pawrents!
