My name is Rachel Reeder and I'm a dog walker, boarder, sitter, and lover based in San Francisco, CA. I've combined by lifelong love for dogs and nature into 1 job. I'm a Certified Dog Walker and CPR & First Aid Certified through TopDogSF. When working with dogs, I use evidence-based force-free methods based on positive reinforcement. I bring fun, compassion, patience, and safety to every interaction I have with your pet! Manda's Ark focuses on dog boarding and dog walking in Napa, Ca. We do provide cat sitting visits but on a limited basis. We board dogs of all sizes, only a few at a time to ensure everyone gets all the love and attention they need/want! The dogs in our care become part of our family and are treated just as our own two spoiled pups are!

I started working in the pet care industry after I took in my grandfather's dog, Roxie. I worked in a small local pet shop, Sunset Pet Supply from 2014 - 2016. I learned all about animal nutrition and wellness. Then I moved into a dog walking position 2017 - 2018. I loved the dog walking so much, I decided to move on and start my own business. I wanted to be able to do more work to help the dogs and their pawrents!
