My name is Stephanie, and I am a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner with 14 years of experience working in the veterinary field. I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Biology from the University of California, Davis, accreditations in low-stress handling, Fear Free, and more. I love to learn and go to training, veterinary, and behavior conferences to stay up to date on the most current information on training methods, anxiety, and aggression. I specialize in helping pets with anxiety and aggression during vet visits, and I love teaching owners how to help their pets gain confidence in previously frightening environments.

Modern Hound is owned and operated by Shoshi Parks, Ph.D., CPDT-ka, CSAT. Shoshi is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). She completed the San Francisco SPCA's Dog Training Internship Program and Public Teaching Internship and is certified by the Canine Behavior Academy of the Marin Humane Society. In addition to her private dog training, Shoshi taught for several years at the San Francisco SPCA and continues to teach at other locations around the city. Shoshi also works with high-risk dogs adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley.

As a positive reinforcement trainer, Christina believes that training should be fun for both the dog and the handler. She loves to celebrate success and can’t wait to meet you and your dog! I am Paul Inman, CTBC, a certified behavior consultant and trainer. I specialize in helping you raise your puppy or kitten in the urban & suburban environment and meeting your individual companion’s unique needs. I offer 1-hour behavioral consultations on any topic to help you understand your pet’s behavior and needs at any stage of life. I work remotely and offer online training plans on a monthly subscription basis. You are in control of the process and my coaching will help you formulate and reach your goals!

Specializing in solo R+ walks, on leash (long lead) for dogs experiencing reactivity and animal communication techniques to assist in understanding your dogs behavioral patterns and individual needs. This approach leads to an outcome of people who feel confident and safe navigating the world with their dogs. Walks are enrichment focused allowing them to use their brain and senses to unwind. For my clients who are actively working with an R+ trainer I am in regular contact with that trainer to support you and your dog’s training journey.
